Edu Falaschi came to be known in the metal scene worldwide after he joined Angra replacing Andre Matos. Since the 'Rebirth' (2001) he has contributed to Angra some of its most representative songs like 'Nova Era,' 'Heroes of Sand,' 'Hunters and Prey,' 'Spread Your Fire,' 'The Course of Nature,' among others. Now he has put all his talent into a side project called ALMAH. The result couldn't been better!

Avantasia - The Scarecrow (2008)

This is the long awaited album from master Tobias Sammet's Avantasia. After releasing two EP's of the single Lost In Space at the end of last year, now we can enjoy this new masterpiece at the beginning of this new year. It is a little bit different from the two 'Metal Opera' of Avantasia in the sense that it has more elements of traditional rock music instead of a complete power metal focus of the album. I still call it a masterpiece! Listen and judge by yourselves.
